I’ve used take five for the past five years throughout many locations. Ones from West Palm Beach all the way to the West Coast and I’ve never had to deal with this type of runaround to the point where it feels like disrespect. I definitely question the Integrity of this shop because one of the young girls there dropped a tool on my vehicle and she didn’t think I noticed it but I felt like maybe she didn’t say anything because nothing happened but that wasn’t the case. Once my oil change was done, I wanted to check to make sure there wasn’t a scratch or dent and here I come to find a small dent. She didn’t say anything and she definitely noticed because once she did it she looked straight at me, everyone did but I was on my phone and I just let it play out. So I let them know before pulling off of the property and they told me they need to make a claim to corporate and then they would reach out to me. I’ve called 3 times and they keep giving me the same runaround. So this is why I’m taking time out of my day to review about the integrity and customer received from Mike or Michael the store manager.

1-Star Review — I Would Give Zero Stars If I Could This was easily one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. When we arrived, the line was extremely long. Meanwhile, we observed four or five employees standing in the parking lot smoking what appeared to be marijuana instead of servicing customers. One of those employees approached my vehicle and immediately started explaining that it was going to take a long time because the manager wasn’t there and wasn’t answering his phone. The entire interaction gave me the impression that he was trying to convince us to leave rather than wait for service. We waited approximately an hour and a half and finally became next in line. At that point, the same employee came back and suddenly told us their oil pump wasn’t working and they wouldn’t be able to service our vehicle. After I questioned this and asked to speak with someone else, another employee gave me the same explanation. Eventually, however, they allowed us into the bay and proceeded with the oil change—which made the earlier explanation even more frustrating. Then another issue started. They almost damaged my engine, I did an oil change & ac filter service with them but they put a wrong screw “that was very inexperienced & stupid” next day I had a sign on my screen to add oil and a sign says Engine power reduced, I immediately stopped by a nearest mechanic shop which they found out my truck was out of oil and dry, the mechanic shop had to repair and replace…etc … which I end up spending more than an oil change price to fix their stupid mistake. Bad experience will never go to them again.

They damaged my wife’s car while checking my air filter to see if it needed to be replaced. After leaving the shop, the car stalled and I was stranded on the side of the road. I called the shop to inform them and they came out to see what was wrong. They told me that the Throttle Actuator Control System was stuck open. They left after that and I had to tow the car an hour south to see my mechanic. He took photos of the damaged hose connecting the air filter and said the damage must have happened when they serviced the car. I lost a day of work, had to pay $130 for the oil service, pay the tow truck, and the mechanic. On top of this all, I have yet to speak with the store manager who allegedly would call me back to see about compensation. Long story short, stay away if you can.

The technician did not put 2 bolts back on the engine cover underneath the car. My daughter was driving back to Tallahassee from Port St Lucie and heard a loud knocking sound at 70 mph. I thought it might have been a rod knock so I had her return home. I had to take the vehicle to Cottin automotive for an inspection. Come to find out Take 5 left body cover unsecured causing it to flap. They are just careless and not paying attention to detail.
